Based in Gainesville, Florida, Scott Rusis is a security professional who holds over a decade of experience in the industry, with an equal amount of time spent in law enforcement. Throughout his career, Scott Rusis has worked with a variety of law enforcement agencies, while also founding two companies, one of which is focused on the security sector.
Mr. Rusis began working in law enforcement in 1994 and served as a narcotics detective and SWAT officer, holding various positions for the following 13 years. During this time he also founded Basic Black, a firm focusing on producing bullet-resistant equipment for special forces and law enforcement officials.
